Richard is a company director and Advanced scaffolder with over 25 years of experience in the industry.
Richard started his scaffolding career with Ledger Scaffolding, whom he maintains a good working relationship. He also spent time working for 1st Scaffolding in Exeter before going into business for himself.
Alexander Wheatley is a company Director with 25 years experience in the industry.
Alex Started out on Residential Scaffold and spent the latter part of his career specialising in temporary roofs and scaffold provision for the water industry
Oliver Highet – Advanced Scaffolder. Worked for RBS for over 15 years gaining qualifications including NEBOSH in Health and Safety Management for Construction, SMSTS training and Temporary Works co-ordinator training.
Owners and founders Richard Challis and Alex Wheatley have over 50 Years combined experience of the scaffolding and construction industry.
Having started as a residential and site based scaffold company RBS went on to diversify. Firstly working closely with companies from the booming solar farm industry, then later into the waste and drinking water industries. The latter requiring expansion into Confined space, mobile elevated platform and clean water (High hygiene) work and travelling across the entire Southwest of England, whilst maintaining a busy residential and site work schedule more locally.
This continued evolution and a commitment to quality training including HAKI, alloy towers and street works has seen RBS build up strong relationships with clients across many sectors and establish themselves as one of the leading Scaffold companies in East Devon.
